Air Liquide & Gas Malaysia partner on low-carbon hydrogen & Bio-LNG

During the Gastech 2026 Exhibition & Conference, Air Liquide Engineering & Construction announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gas Malaysia Berhad, a member of MMC Group, to explore and develop joint energy transition projects. The collaboration aims to accelerate practical decarbonization pathways across Malaysia’s industrial sector. 

By leveraging Air Liquide's proprietary technologies and expertise in gas separation and liquefaction, the partnership will notably focus on developing solutions for low-carbon hydrogen, CO2 off-take, and Bio-LNG in Malaysia.

The collaboration provides a platform for both parties to assess potential projects that bring together Gas Malaysia’s wide market reach and infrastructure advantage with Air Liquide’s global expertise in industrial gas technologies and engineering to address the customers’ sustainable energy needs.
