  • Trailblazer: a 20MW large-scale electrolyzer in Oberhausen, Germany to supply key industries and mobility with renewable hydrogen and oxygen, accelerating the decarbonization of the Rine-Ruhr industrial basin.

  • Normand'Hy: a 200MW PEM electrolyzer in Port-Jérôme, France, to supply renewable hydrogen for industrial and heavy mobility applications, avoiding the emission of 250,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year. 

  • ELYgator: A 200MW PEM electrolyzer project in the Netherlands developed to support the decarbonization of the industrial basin. Through a long-term partnership with TotalEnergies, ELYgator will supply renewable and low-carbon hydrogen to industrial platforms, leveraging leading technology from our joint venture with Siemens Energy to avoid significant annual CO₂ emissions.

  • EnergHys: A 250MW PEM electrolyzer project in the Netherlands, realized through a strategic joint venture between Air Liquide and TotalEnergies. Powered by renewable energy from the OranjeWind offshore wind farm, EnergHys represents a massive shift to industrial-scale production. 

  • Project K6: Delivering Europe’s first carbon-neutral Cement plant In a strategic collaboration selected for financial support by the European Commission's 2021 Innovation Fund, Air Liquide has partnered with EQIOM on "Project K6". The goal is to transform the existing Lumbres cement facility in France into a pioneering carbon-neutral plant. The plant uses a first-of-a-kind oxyfuel kiln layout where Air Liquide provides bulk oxygen while implementing Cryocap™ Oxy to capture and liquefy 8 million tonnes of CO₂ over the first 10 years of operation.
